Crusty Baguette Garlic Bread

- 1 French baguette
- ½ cup unsalted butter 1 stick - room temperature
- 1 TBS grated garlic about 5 cloves
- 2 TBS fresh parsley minced
- ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
Preheat oven to 375°F.
In a small bowl mix together the butter, garlic, parsley, parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper.
Using a bread knife, cut the baguette open lengthwise and then into thirds (6 pieces/baguette)
Place cut sides of bread facing up on a large baking sheet lined with non-stick aluminum foil.
Spread the compound butter evenly across the tops of the baguette pieces.
Bake the bread in a preheated oven for 5 mins then broil for another 5 mins until golden brown and crispy.
