Mexican Queso Blanco
Tasty, creamy melted cheese dip for enjoying with Mexican food
Ingredients
- 10 oz Oaxaca cheese block
- 15 oz Crema Mexicana table cream
- ¼ cup 2% milk
- 2 TBS garlic squeeze tube
- ½ tsp salt
- 4 oz chopped mild Hatch green chiles
- 10 oz Fire-roasted diced tomatoes with lime & cilantro
- ¼ cup cilantro chopped
Instructions
- Shred Oaxaca cheese.
- Add Oaxaca cheese, Crema Mexicana, and 2% milk to crockpot.
- Set crockpot on LOW for 1½ hrs then add garlic, salt, chiles and tomatoes and stir to mix.
- Keep crockpot on LOW for 30 mins, then switch to WARM for serving.
