Broccoli and Cheese Roll

Fun veggie filled bread roll to serve to guests

Ingredients
  

  • 1 8 oz. package crescent rolls
  • 2 cups chopped broccoli
  • 1 red bell pepper cut into small pieces
  • 1 cup shredded medium cheddar cheese
  • 1 tsp dried dill or to taste
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Pre-heat oven to 350º F.
  • In a large bowl, mix broccoli, red bell pepper, cottage cheese and cheddar cheese together. Add in salt, pepper and dill, to taste.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Roll out crescent dough flat and press edges together to make a rectangular sheet.
  • Pour broccoli and cheese mixture down center of crescent dough.
  • Braid the crescent roll around/over the broccoli mixture.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until dough is golden brown.
