Broccoli and Cheese Roll
Fun veggie filled bread roll to serve to guests
Ingredients
- 1 8 oz. package crescent rolls
- 2 cups chopped broccoli
- 1 red bell pepper cut into small pieces
- 1 cup shredded medium cheddar cheese
- 1 tsp dried dill or to taste
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven to 350º F.
- In a large bowl, mix broccoli, red bell pepper, cottage cheese and cheddar cheese together. Add in salt, pepper and dill, to taste.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Roll out crescent dough flat and press edges together to make a rectangular sheet.
- Pour broccoli and cheese mixture down center of crescent dough.
- Braid the crescent roll around/over the broccoli mixture.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until dough is golden brown.
