Butter Chicken

Ingredients
  

  • 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts — cut into bite-size pieces
  • 1 small yellow onion — finely chopped
  • 4 TBS garlic squeeze tube
  • 2 TBS ginger squeeze tube
  • 2 tsp garam masala
  • 2 tsp ground cumin
  • 2 tsp ground turmeric
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 can 8 oz tomato sauce

To Finish

  • ½ stick butter
  • 7 oz coconut cream
  • 2 tsp garam masala
  • ½ cup chopped cilantro + more to garnish

Instructions
 

  • Season the chicken with salt and thoroughly mix all of the ingredients and chicken together in a bowl. Marinade 1 – 4 hours in refrigerator.
  • Place chicken mixture into an deep sauté pan and cook over medium heat for 15-20 mins until chicken is tender and cooked.
  • Add each of the finishing ingredients, in order, and stir until well incorporated before adding the next.
  • Serve over rice or with naan bread. Garnish with cilantro.
