Butter Chicken
Ingredients
- 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts — cut into bite-size pieces
- 1 small yellow onion — finely chopped
- 4 TBS garlic squeeze tube
- 2 TBS ginger squeeze tube
- 2 tsp garam masala
- 2 tsp ground cumin
- 2 tsp ground turmeric
- 2 tsp paprika
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 can 8 oz tomato sauce
To Finish
- ½ stick butter
- 7 oz coconut cream
- 2 tsp garam masala
- ½ cup chopped cilantro + more to garnish
Instructions
- Season the chicken with salt and thoroughly mix all of the ingredients and chicken together in a bowl. Marinade 1 – 4 hours in refrigerator.
- Place chicken mixture into an deep sauté pan and cook over medium heat for 15-20 mins until chicken is tender and cooked.
- Add each of the finishing ingredients, in order, and stir until well incorporated before adding the next.
- Serve over rice or with naan bread. Garnish with cilantro.
