Spicy Chili

Healthy, slow cooked chili makes the house smell great!

Ingredients
  

  • 3 lbs lean ground Turkey / Beef
  • 2 16 oz cans kidney beans, drained
  • 1 16 oz cans white chili beans
  • 2 14.5 oz cans diced tomatoes
  • 1 8 oz can tomato sauce
  • 2 onions chopped
  • 3 bell peppers red/orange/yellow, chopped/sliced
  • 4 TBS garlic squeeze tube
  • 3 TBS chili powder
  • ½ TBS cayenne pepper
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ground black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and stir in ground meat. Cook and stir until meat is crumbly, evenly browned, and no longer pink, about 7 mins. Drain and discard any excess grease.
  • Combine meat, kidney beans, chili beans, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, onions, bell pepper, garlic, chili powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper in a slow cooker.
  • Cover and cook on LOW for 10 hrs.
