Spicy Chili
Healthy, slow cooked chili makes the house smell great!
Ingredients
- 3 lbs lean ground Turkey / Beef
- 2 16 oz cans kidney beans, drained
- 1 16 oz cans white chili beans
- 2 14.5 oz cans diced tomatoes
- 1 8 oz can tomato sauce
- 2 onions chopped
- 3 bell peppers red/orange/yellow, chopped/sliced
- 4 TBS garlic squeeze tube
- 3 TBS chili powder
- ½ TBS cayenne pepper
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp ground black pepper
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and stir in ground meat. Cook and stir until meat is crumbly, evenly browned, and no longer pink, about 7 mins. Drain and discard any excess grease.
- Combine meat, kidney beans, chili beans, diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, onions, bell pepper, garlic, chili powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper in a slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 10 hrs.
