Green and Smokey Red Chimichurri Sauce
Perfect with steak – Green: peppery/minty parsley sauce; Red: smokey/peppery/tangy sauce
Ingredients
Green Chimichurri
- 1 cup fresh flat-leaf parsley leaves
- ½ cup fresh mint leaves
- ½ cup fresh oregano leaves
- ½ cup canola oil
- ¼ cup red wine vinegar
- 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- 8 TBS garlic squeeze tube
Smoky Red Chimichurri
- 1 cup fresh flat-leaf parsley leaves
- ½ cup extra-virgin olive oil
- ¼ cup red wine vinegar
- 2 TBS finely chopped fresh oregano
- 1 TBS chipotle pepper spice
- 1 TBS smoked paprika
- ½ tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- 3 TBS garlic squeeze tube
Instructions
- For both sauces: Combine all ingredients except the canola/olive oil in a food processor. Slowly add oil and process until smooth.
- Season with salt to taste.
