Spiced Marinated Lamb Chops with Garlicky Yogurt
Wonderful presentation dish with grilled lamb chops and amazing flavors
Ingredients
- 1 TBS garlic squeeze tube
- 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
- ½ lemon juice
- salt
- black pepper
- 2 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- ¾ tsp ground turmeric
- ¼ tsp ground allspice
- splash of non-fat milk
- 8 small rib lamb chops about 1–1¼ inches thick
Instructions
- Combine garlic and yogurt in bowl. Squeeze juice from ½ lemon into mixture. Season with salt and pepper and whisk to combine. Set aside ½ yogurt mixture for serving.
- Whisk cumin, coriander, turmeric, and allspice into remaining yogurt mixture. If still thick, add splash of non-fat milk.
- Season both sides of lamb chops with salt and pepper. Place in Ziploc bag with spiced yogurt mixture. Let chops sit at room temperature 30 minutes, or cover and chill up to 12 hrs.
- Grill on BBQ about 4 mins per side until internal temperature is 130º F.
- Let chops rest 5 minutes, then serve with reserved yogurt mixture alongside.
